This book became a "classic" almost overnight, and with good reason. It's the funniest book in the science fiction genre (or maybe in this case I should just say "sci-fi") ever written. I've had very few experiences where I laughed out loud while reading a novel. This book accounted for a good portion, and his other books account for most of the rest.
