The day before Memorial Day -- Sunday -- Zachary and I visited the
field of flags in Cambridge Cemetery:

We saw marchers in period uniforms carrying period flags:
the last flag in this group is Huge--it is on a fire truck ladder!

Check out the waving little-leaguer in the middle ;-)
I like that they used bicycle cops to stop the cross-street traffic.

At the end, the bagpiper played Amazing Grace,
followed by a 21-gun salute, and a bugler playing Taps:
