Review of: The Hobbit

written by: J.R.R. Tolkien

Rating: A1

Very good book. I liked it quite a lot, but my perspective on this book is rather unusual, since I read it in the fifth grade. At the time it seemed like a very long book, with very long sweeping descriptions of the world it was creating. When I read it again later, it seemed much shorter. But it is very descriptive. This helps to build a strong sense of realism to the world, which makes it an excellent way to escape from this world.
